# Legal Status

This page is a short product-status note, not legal advice.

Waitlist Season 2 is the current campaign, with a configured 1 September 2026 00:00 UTC through 1 October 2026 06:00 UTC window. Its live lifecycle and individual access flags control availability. Closed Beta Season 1 ran from 06:00 UTC on 10 August 2026 to 00:00 UTC on 24 August 2026 and is preserved as a historical archive. Main Arena access remains gated.

## The arena score: CP and HP

* The arena score is displayed as **CP** during closed beta 1 and closed beta 2, and as **HP** from open beta onward.
* **CP and HP are two names for the same off-chain score.** They are one balance, not two currencies. The change is a display label only: no balance is created, destroyed, reset, migrated, or exchanged when the label changes, and the API continues to expose the score under its existing `hp` field names.
* CP/HP is an off-chain beta score.
* CP/HP is not a blockchain token.
* CP/HP is not a financial product.
* Holding CP/HP alone is not a guarantee of future rewards, allocations, or claims; a campaign must separately publish and activate its eligibility and settlement terms.

## Beta Points and the prize pool

* Beta Points are campaign-specific engagement scores, not tokens. Season 1 and Season 2 have separate participant records and ledgers. For Season 1, a published 1:1 conversion window was offered and **closed permanently on 24 August 2026**. That rule does not create a Season 2 conversion or entitlement.
* The **Season 1** prize-pool entry ticket is an off-chain eligibility record. It is not an NFT, not transferable, and it does not change any score or ranking position. One entry is granted automatically when the frozen Beta Point checkpoint meets the published threshold. No Beta Points are spent, deducted, or locked.
* Season 1 prize-pool settlement is reviewed by staff before any real-value payout. The published Season 1 formula — final CP weighted by CP leaderboard rank band — describes how a share is calculated; it does not execute a payment on its own. Placing in a rank band is not an entitlement to a fixed amount. Any Season 2 prize or settlement contract must be published and activated separately.

## Other status notes

* The waitlist wallet-binding BAS attestation is a public proof record, not a transferable asset or financial product.
* Wallet-only Waitlist sample games are unranked, zero-entry, zero-payout exhibitions. They create no CP/HP movement, betting right, prize right, or Main Arena admission.
* Game rules, scoring, rankings, seasons, quest rewards, and beta access may change during testing.

Future tokenomics, contracts, or claim mechanisms, if introduced, will be documented separately before launch.
